WhatsApp is a free messaging application and that has a Voice IP feature owned by Facebook Inc. It allows users to send texts and voice calls, and send photos, documents, locations, and other types of media. WhatsApp application operates on cellular phones and is also able to operate from laptops or personal computers, as long as the user’s cellular phone remains in an internet connection while they use the computer app. WhatsApp requires users to provide a cellular mobile number for registering with the application.
In January 2018, WhatsApp unveiled a business feature targeting small business ownership, called WhatsApp Business, to allow businesses to connect with customers who use the standard WhatsApp client. The client application was made by WhatsApp Inc. of Mountain View, California, which was bought by Facebook in February 2014 for US$19.3 billion. It began to be the world’s most famous messaging application by 2015 and has over 2 billion users all over the world as of February 2020. It has become the means of cellular communication in multiple countries and locations, that includes South America, India, Pakistan, and large parts of Europe, including the United Kingdom, Spain, and France.
WhatsApp calls through the desktop application can also be recorded for documentation purposes through different software available. Step 1: Make Settings
1.1 Choose a sound source
You can choose “System sound, Microphone, System sound and microphone or None.” To record a Whatsapp call, you can select “System sound and microphone”.
1.2 Select the recording mode
Click on the “Record” button to choose the recording mode from “Full screen, Region, Audio, Web camera, Around mouse”. Since we are recording WhatsApp, select “Audio”. Make sure that the Whatsapp call is on the background.
Step 2: Record Audio
After selecting “Audio” the recording will automatically start.
Make sure that the call is ready or ongoing in the background before the recording starts.
Click the stop button when you are done recording.
Step 3: Find the recorded file
After that, the recorded file is already saved in the pointed output folder.
1. Your recorded file can be seen in the main interface. You can right-click the file and do more operations if you like.
2. Click the folder icon to view it in the pointed output folder.
